Leivonmäki is one of the youngest National Park in Finland. Characteristic to the park are mires, shores and esker forests. In a relatively small area, there are valuable natural features in a diverse landscape
In the wilderness-like landscape of Leivonmäki National Park, the hiking trails and duckboards are ideal for family day trips, because of their suitable length and because they are not too demanding. There are several campfire places in the area, some of which have shelters. The camping sites and lean-to shelters attract visitors to stay overnight in the National Park.
