How to get there?
The region is located in the middle of Finland's western coast, about half way from Helsinki to Lapland. It is easy to get to by air, train, bus or car and also by boat. If you travel by car take the main road 8 and every now and then take a detour to explore some of the idyllic smaller roads on your way. For example the road no 749 takes you to the vivid 7 bridges Archipelago.
Our shared airport Kokkola-Pietarsaari is located in Kruunupyy. Fast daily train connections bring people from Helsinki to Kokkola and Pännäinen in less than four hours. There are also transport connections to Kalajoki. Well-equipped harbours for guest boats serve those who are travelling by boat along the coast.
