Ice fishing trip on snowshoes in Ylläs with a local family company Kylmämaa

After a short car drive, we put on our snowshoes to hike to a private frozen river pool, where we bore holes through the ice and drop our lines. As you wait for a bite, you can pop into the kota shelter for some hot drinks, cold-smoked reindeer meat flatbread wraps, fry sausages on the fire and for dessert a bun. Naturally any fish caught can be prepared on the fire. The return journey is done on snowshoes.
