One and a half storey log cottage in Tuusniemi, in a beautiful little bay on the shore of Lake Juojärvi. The cottage has a living room/kitchen, a sleeping alcove (double bed) and a semi-bedroom (steep stairs, pitched roof, low ceiling, 2 mattresses). Dressing room, sauna with showers, spacious covered terrace, dry toilet. In the courtyard there are a wood stove and barbecue shelter and gas barbecue. Open terrace on the beach, jetty and boat. Water comes from well, in wintertime from spring.

A sandy, lagoon-like cove opens out from the log cabin beach, just next to the swimming dock. A rock ledge separates the cove from the deeper water of the lake into its own warm-water pond. Decades ago, a tugboat used to stop at this rocky, natural watershed when logs felled from the village's forests were transported by water to Tuusniemi.
