Reposaari walking tour – Sea and Wooden Building Romance

Reposaari is the maritime district of Pori. Reposaari, locally also called "Räpsöö", is an idyllic island of wooden buildings, like a fascinating miniature town. The island is approximately three kilometres long and half a kilometer wide. It offers magnificent sea views and many interesting details.

The deep and protected natural harbour of Reposaari has been an important base for marine traders and military expeditioners for centuries. You can still feel the era of sailing ships on the island. A walking tour is an excellent way to experience the city's history and present day, culture and architecture, people and nature.
