The historical houses of Loviisa

The historical houses of Loviisa is an event where the public has the opportunity, for an admission fee, to visit over a hundred-year-old houses, homes, and gardens located in the city of Loviisa, as well as observe the renovation processes of the buildings. Additionally, the LWT event features a variety of side events such as antique markets, flea markets, and local food sales.

Loviisan Wanhat Talot has been awarded the Uusimaa Environmental Award 2007, Loviisa City's Metalli Award 2008, the Finnish Association of Architects' SAFA Award 2009, a special mention in the Vartin Vuoden kaupunkiteko 2010 competition, and the Matkakivi Award 2014. In 2020, the event was held virtually.

The next edition of Loviisan Wanhat Talot will take place on August 26-27, 2023.
