Bosund Boat, Fishing and Hunting Museum

Bosund Boat, Fishing and Hunting Museum r.f. is an association whose purpose is to collect, preserve and display traditional peasant boats, fishing equipment, hunting gear and other maritime objects that belong to the Ostrobothnian cultural heritage.

The association maintains a maritime museum in a scenic area with several buildings such as boathouses, boat sheds, a shearer's cabin, salt storage and not least a larger exhibition hall where essentially all the collections are located. The museum is maintained entirely by non-profit forces.
