HAM Helsinki Art Museum

HAM Helsinki Art Museum is one of the most significant art museums in Finland and the Nordic region. It looks boldly towards the future and aims to create meaningful experiences for its audiences through its activities.

HAM actively curates a broad international exhibition program and houses a rich collection of over 10,000 artworks, including the city of Helsinki’s public art collection. HAM’s exhibition spaces are in the functionalist building Tennis Palace, where it also permanently presents Tove Jansson’s frescoes and other works.

HAM is in charge of the city’s historic and continually growing collection of public art. Art can be also experienced all over Helsinki: public artworks from the city’s art collection are found in Helsinki’s parks, streets and squares. Semi-public indoor spaces, such as schools, daycare centres and libraries.

In addition, HAM curates and produces the ambitious contemporary art event Helsinki Biennial.

Tennis Palace (Tennispalatsi) is located next to Kamppi Shopping Centre and is easily accessible by public transportation. HAM’s ticket counter is on the second floor of Tennispalatsi, and the exhibition spaces are on the second and third floors.
