One Day Blacksmithing course. Kesä 2025

The house knives are the most popular kitchen knives sold in the shop in Puumala. They are sharp, durable, all-purpose kitchen knives made from a single piece of metal. The knives use a traditional shape dating back to the Bronze Age.

On this one-day course, you will get to make your own kitchen knife. The day includes some hard forging work, as well as annealing and sharpening of the knife. The knife is forged entirely by hand under the blacksmith’s guidance and assistance. The course is suitable for people who can handle a hammer.

Price: 175€ (inc. teaching, materials, coffee/tee x 2 and vat) During the day there will be lunch break and we recommend you to visit on local restaurant ”Niinipuu” just 400m from Blacksmith workshop.
