Kelkkasafari to Kenttälampi wilderness camp in North Salla

This safari takes you to Kenttälampi Eräkeskus wilderness camp, deep in the North Salla forrests. In the shelter of the massive logs of the Eräkeskus is the accomodation and dinners.

The untouched wildernesses of Salla offer a wonderful setting for enjoying nature in many different ways.

PROGRAM:

1. DAY: Arrive in Salla. Accommodation in a hotel/cottages. Dinner.

2. DAY: After breakfast, transfer to the base of Kola Extreme, distribution of equipments. Driving instruction before departure. The journey continues towards the northern parts of Salla and Kentälampi Eräkeskus camp. Along the way the safari lunch and black pot coffee by the campfire at Karhutunturi hut. In the evening arriving to Eräkeskus camp, accommodation, sauna and dinner.

3. DAY: Breakfast and start to the safari. Driving to the top of Sorsatunturi fell. There is a border zone on the eastern edge of the fell, and from the top of the fell there are amazing landscapes to both Finland and Russia. Between rides, picnic lunch with black pot coffee by the fire. Return to Eräkeskus camp. Sauna and dinner.

4. DAY: After a good night's sleep and breakfast, departure for the return trip to Salla. Along the way, safari lunch at Karhutunturi fell. Upon arrival in Salla, transport to the accommodation (hotel/cottage), sauna and dinner at the restaurant.

5. DAY: Breakfast and departure home. Approximately 300 kilometers are accumulated.

THE PRICE INCLUDES:

Snowmobile use with fuel, complete driving equipment, accommodation and meals according to the program, guide services, snowmobile insurance (deductible for snowmobile accident €1000).

For an additional fee, transportation from/to the airport and accommodation in single rooms.
