Visit Raahe representing the Raahe region is a compatible sum of great parts: Raahe, Siikajoki and Pyhäjoki. Our home is located in North Ostrobothnia, Finland, on the shore of the Bay of Bothnia, between and on the banks of the Siikajoki and Pyhäjoki rivers.
We hope that the things that are close to our hearts give you plenty of reasons to visit the Raahe region. Explore accommodation options; here you can find hotels, charming apartments in the historical Old Town’s wooden houses, traditional cottages and farms in the peaceful countryside. Give yourself and your friends time and eat well. Enjoy physical activities and well-being inside and outdoors, get in touch with the sea and archipelago, forests in the inland, hike and explore, enjoy culture and get inspired by art and many stories. Takarannan taidepolku / Takaranta Art Trail

On the Takaranta Art Path, nature and art meet. Citizens of all ages have created artworks from biodegradable materials for outdoor visitors to enjoy: art tents, straw ornaments made from beach ryegrass, and spinners made from natural fibres and wood. 

The 1.8 km path near the city centre is suitable for walking, running and cycling. The Art Path evolves and changes over the years. Starting point e.g. Ilolinnantie 48, Pitkäkari.

Takaranta Art Path is part of the official Oulu2026 European Capital of Culture programme.
