The traditional art of historic log houses amid peaceful wilderness by Lake Luosujärvi offer a unique venue for memorable events and celebrations as well as for arctic sauna experiences. 

Rönölä is an authentic lumberjack mansion from the last century that is open on order for small and larger groups. 
>> In the main house up to 50 people can be seated down comfortably for dining..
>> Our two wood-fired large lakeside saunas take up to some 20 persons at a time.  Swimming in the lake refreshes during the sauna hours.
>> A couple of wind shelters onshore offer cosy open fireplaces.

We also organize open events in which the wider public can participate; follow our website or social media announcements.

Rönölä is easy to reach by car as it locates by the main road 9404/ Luosuntie.  The network of Ylläs outdoor trails also runs alongside.

Here you have a unique moment to unwind from the modern world and to enjoy serene atmosphere of the historic lakeside environment and its restful surrounding wilderness. The wooden logs of the old houses have travelled along with the lumbering projects and between sites in the early half of last century, when timber was harvested from the forests by the powers of men and horses. If the old walls could talk, they would have many great stories from the past.

Our arctic two saunas service will take your sauna experience to the new level!  

We will prepare and warm up both the authentic and rustic lumberjack sauna Savotta and the smoke sauna Savu. Wood-heated saunas provide a perfect setting for relaxing, while cleansing the body and mind from rush and stress. The Double Relax service allows you to relax in two different saunas according to your preferences. 

Embrace their gentle and moist steam with plenty of time. You may take a dip in the natural lake that refreshes you during the sauna warm-ups. 

Having a sauna is one of the most efficient ways to relax and practice some mindfulness. The surrounding beautiful arctic nature and wilderness lake complete your enjoyment.
