Myllypuro nature reserve is located in the Ikuri and Kalkku districts west of Tampere.

The Myllypuro area is part of the national grove protection program and also the Natura program. Its groves, slopes and waterfalls are one of the most valuable areas in Tampere in terms of beauty and flora.

Although there are no rarities in the nesting birds of Myllypuro, the birds of the area are significant due to their large number and species density.
