Forest Bathing Taster 1 hour – De-stress and Enjoy Nature in a New Way can be arranged anywhere in the Metropolitan area.
New to forest bathing or short of time? Try it out in a shorter taster session and lower immediately your stress hormone level, heart rate and blood pressure within 30 minutes!
The session, which allows you to immerse yourself in the sounds, scents, colours and shapes of the forest and reconnect with nature (and yourself), can be carried out even in a park or small forest area, for example, close to your hotel or congress/event venue.
In a group of max 15 people, the group walks slowly max.1 km and tries some guided nature connection and sensory awareness activities, lead by a certified local Forest Therapy and Wilderness Guide.
At the end the participants share their experience and enjoy some Finnish herbal tea or blueberry smoothie. You'll also receive aromatic oil on your skin so you can continue to enjoy the therapeutic effects of the forest for the rest of the day.
The healing effects of nature on the body and mind have been recognized for thousands of years across different cultures. Forest bathing, or "shinrin-yoku," was developed in the 1980s in Japan as a treatment for the stress and exhaustion of urban populations. This mindfulness-based method has since spread worldwide and evolved into a well-researched wellness practice that enhances the documented health benefits of nature, effectively reduces stress, strengthens the immune system, and recharges you with new vitality.
