Midsummer Cruise on Lake Saimaa

The traditional M/S Aino Midsummer cruises cruise through the natural and traditional landscapes of Lake Saimaa in Mikkeli. In addition to the beautiful nature, you will see prehistoric rock paintings, pass by 19th-century canals and villas, and watch how the midsummer festival is celebrated on the shores.

The Midsummer menu is prepared and served by Saimaa local food guru and chef Ilkka Arvola, who is known for his uncompromising expertise in fresh, local ingredients and natural products. The high-quality menu is served from the buffet.

The menu will be announced during the spring.

The evening cruise will also feature performer and entertainer Jendrek Prusak, who has decades of experience playing musical instruments and navigating the world's seas.

So, unique lake landscapes and personable cruise hosts and hostesses are on offer.

A bus trip from Mikkeli will be arranged for the evening cruise. The departure point for the transport is the market square's charter bus stop Marchal Mannerheim´s statue. The transport departs at 19:20 and returns to the same place after the cruise. The transport is included in the price of the cruise ticket.
