WHAT IS THE ARCTIC GIANT?
Feel free as a bird as you arrive at the hilltop and enter the Arctic Giant. Pause for a moment to admire the glowing starry sky, the shining northern lights, or the healing rays of the morning sun. The Arctic Giant is a mystical world of forest spirits and other magical creatures, located on the high Kivesvaara hill in Paltamo. The Arctic Giant offers memorable accommodation and restaurant services up among the birds. In addition, the Arctic Giant is a popular venue for weddings and parties, and has provided an enjoyable setting for all sorts of celebrations.

We love nature and all of its flavours. We collect our own mushrooms, berries and herbs to use as ingredients in our foods. When it comes to other ingredients such as fish, wild game, and root vegetables, we always favour using local ingredients. The dishes we serve are prepared to resemble a giant's meal: original and full of flavour, allowing the distinct taste of each ingredient to be savoured. Nature is important to us, which is why we act in an environmentally friendly manner while respecting sustainable development principles.

Fast, frozen, unforgettable.

Driving a rally car on a frozen lake is definitely an exciting adventure. Studded tires provide excellent grip on the icy track, allowing you to test your skills, feel the speed, and let the snow spray fly beneath your wheels. This experience is suitable for first-timers and you will get to know how to drive an ice rally. Grab the steering wheel, hit the gas and let the snow dust fly under your tires!

At the beginning, you will get instructions and guidance on driving an ice rally. The driving time is 3 x 20 min. During breaks, you can enjoy a warm drink and a light snack by the campfire.
