Pyhä Ski Resort has been a pioneer of sustainable tourism since the 1990s, when we were one of the first Finnish companies in the tourist industry to participate in the pilot projects of sustainable tourism arranged by Matkailun edistämiskeskus, the predecessor of Visit Finland. We introduced our environmental programme together with our sister resort in Ruka in 2008. In 2019, we upgraded the environmental programme to a responsibility programme that includes social and economic aspects as well.

The goal of Pyhä Ski Resort is to be the cleanest ski resort in the world. Many aspects of the environment and operating methods of Pyhä Ski Resort support and make it imperative to achieve this goal. Pyhä as well as other regions of Lapland are proved to have the cleanest air in the world. The drinking water in the north is also known to be the cleanest in the world. Our location right next to the oldest national park in Finland has a central role in the natural and clean customer experience of Pyhä.

The most appealing summer event for semi-acoustic music set in the magnificent Pyhä landscape showcases Finland’s leading artists and bands. The outdoor stages of Aittakuru and Tajukangas serve as the main stages of the event. Music is also played at CAMP Kitchen & Bar, Huttuhippu, Pyhän Uula, Tsokka, Sportbar and Kurula´s Resort.
