Activities, experiences and accommodation

Design Center Proto in Pikisaari, Oulu, is the center of design in Northern Finland. In addition to exhibition activities, the Design Center Proto organises a wide range of events and activities for the public and designers. 

In connection with the Design Center, you will also find a Design Shop where you can buy quality design products and related accessories.

Design Center Proto is maintained by PROTO - Northern Finland Designers' Association.

Welcome, there are no entrance fees to our exhibitions!

In Design Center Proto at Pikisaari, Oulu, we have exchanging design related exhibitions that are open for the public during our opening hours.

Our exhibition hall has about 150 square meters of floor area with a breathtaking sea view. It's located in the old wool factory. The street address of the Design Center Proto is Pikisaarentie 17, 90100 Oulu, Finland.
