The group builds their own small hut using boards and other suitable wood materials, wicker, fabric, carpet wefts and string or other recycled materials for the details. A joint hut project begins with planning.

The parts of the hut can be sawn and nailed together with a hammer. The group can make the hut unique by decorating it. Alternatively, it is possible to tie a wicker hut with string or another method.
