Tuusula's beautiful gray cruciform church was built 1746. The couch is very simply decorated and a devout atmosphere is created with stained-glass windows and an altarpiece dating to 1850's. Finnish national writer Aleksis Kivi and painter Pekka Halonen are buried in the small churchyard.
