Juustopolku Trail, Heinola

Juustopolku is an old connection trail from Heinola to Vuolenkoski. Leading through a fairy tale-like spruce forest, it helps you forget about all your troubles. The trail is suitable for a day trip, but it is also possible to stay overnight in the lean-to shelter. There is an impressive boulder, Kupparinkivi (“Cupper’s Rock”), by the trail. And if you pay close attention, you may see traces of beavers that have lived in the area.

Juustopolku starts from Jyränkö, Heinola, by Lake Konnivesi. The terrain varies from paths to forest roads. The total length of the trail is 17 km.
