Go snowshoes right from the hotel courtyard and admire the scenery or even the aurora borealis (of course, we cannot guarantee that you will see the aurora borealis). We can also tailor-make a guided tour, for example to the top of the surrounding the peak of a hill.

Santa's Little Village is located in Kemijärvi in Lapland, Finland's northernmost city. The direct train connection from Helsinki to Kemijärvi runs through Tampere and Rovaniemi. You can also get there by bus. The nearest airports are in Rovaniemi (81 km) and Kuusamo (142 km), from where we can pick you up to the hotel.

We also have a log hotel with 6 idyllic rooms for two people and 1 larger apartment (upper floor in Wanha Aitta), which accommodates 4-6 people.

In our hotel, you can also enjoy both the steam bath in the wooden sauna and the beautiful scenery from the lakeside terrace.

Kemijärvi is diverse - a perfect place for both outdoor activities and peace and quiet all year round. In the winter you can admire the Aurora Borealis on a heated sled or on snowshoes, rent sliding snowshoes, snowshoes or eFatbikes and meet even the Santa Claus. In the summer you can hike on the peak of the forested hills, cycle and get to the lake by SUP board or rowing boat. Through our partner, you can go husky safaris, visit reindeer farm and go snowmobile.
