Hilima´s Cottage

Hilima's Cottage is located along Ohtakarintie, 2 km from Lohtaja (Kokkola). The beautiful sandy dunes of Vattajanniemi and the fishing village of Ohtakari are approximately 8 km away. The cottage offers accommodation from May to October.

In the main room, there are two pull-out beds. The cottage is equipped with electricity, a fireplace, a small kitchen area with an electric stove, coffee maker, water, and drainage. The entrance has a toilet space with a Separett dry toilet (fixed container, waste into a well, and odors out with electricity), and a sink. Outside, there is a woodshed with an outdoor toilet. The outdoor sauna is wood-heated same as the sauna water. In the sauna chamber, there is also a bunk bed, providing accommodation for two.

The cottage and sauna were renovated in 2012, while the sauna and bathroom were renovated in 2020. The rental fee is €65/day or €380/week. Electric for an electric car or electricity for a motorhome or caravan should be arranged separately (approximately €10/day).
