Suurola nature trail and Leppäselkä bird-watching tower

The nature trail and the bird-watching tower are only at a 4 km distance from Kangasniemi main village towards Hokka. There is a bird-watching tower at the turning point. There you can monitor Suurolanlahti -bay’s large bird population especially in the spring. There is also an atmospheric hut where you can make a fire and enjoy your own picnic. An other campfire place is situated at the other side of the trail. There you can also go to swim during the summer months. The total length of the nature trail is 4 km.
