The observation point of Sallatunturit is located right next to Salla National Park, on the bottom of East slopes of Salla ski resort and fell Sallatunturi. It offers a breathtaking view opening up in front of you to wilderness. Here, in the midst of the quiet nature, you can easily feel like you are just a small being in the eternity. At this nature observation point you can also make a fire.

You can reach the observation point along the Tunturin ympäri (Around the Fell) xc ski track, by skiing down the East slopes, or by walking and by car along Itärinteentie.

Itäkota cafe is located near the observation point and it is open seasonally in day time during the winter season. Next to Itäkota is also a small lean-to shelter with firewoods for everyone to use.
