Hanko Diving -scuba diving excursion

Under the name Hanko Diving, we organize diving excursion to Hanko's unique wrecks for both groups and individual guests.

For groups and diving club

Hanko Diving -scuba diving excursion is aimed at groups and groups that have their own equipment, know-how and a diving leader to lead the diving activity. The day includes the Hanko Diving diving support ship m/s Atlanta with its equipment for about 6 hours with a captain familiar with diving. The day includes two dives, and the length of the day depends on the selected destinations. In addition to transport, Hanko Diving takes care of surface guarding and EA readiness on the surface, as well as recording diving times. You will be left to dive, on the surface we will also help you to put on your equipment and get on the boat.

For individual divers

We organize open excursion for all classified scuba divers in cooperation with Aalto Diving School. It is also possible to rent diving equipment for these departures via the Aalto Diving School.

Our boat m/s Atlanta is a Kulkuri 34 equipped for diving, and the boat has e.g. sturdy diving ladders, a limited selection of spare equipment and ready-to-use emergency oxygen. The boat can accommodate up to 12 day guests, the optimal group size is 10 people, but 12 divers with their equipment can be accommodated with tight packing.

Our standard targets are buoyed wrecks, and there is a rope from buoy to wreck. Our most popular destinations are Osborn & Elisabeth (17 m) from 1873 and Consrvativ (14 m) from the 1870s as Garpen. Other classic items include The pike's gut (Hauensuoli in Finnish) with its many wrecks and bio-sites (Cable wreck 17 m), Meierfelt's cannon levers (12 m).
