From 15 January to 7 February, the world’s northernmost light installation illuminates the snowy slopes and forests of Ruka, creating an unforgettable experience beneath the polar night sky.

Glide through illuminated landscapes on skis, speed down the slopes on a Stiga sled, and immerse yourself in a world where light art and Arctic nature come together. A lift ticket gives access to the full spectacle on the mountain, including the iconic Kuru slope, where many of the festival’s most impressive installations can be seen up close. Don’t miss the hugely popular Ruka Coaster, which becomes part of the experience with special festival lighting, offering a thrilling ride through the glowing Arctic night.
