We drive to the Lompolo wilderness village and Soma Hideout, where we jump to a snowmobile-drawn sledge and head out for our spot of fishing. Ice fishing is a traditional, Lappish way of fishing in winter and involves drilling a hole in the ice and waiting to see if the fish hiding under the ice will agree to take a bite.

While fishing, we also enjoy the warmth of a campfire and roasting sausages. After fishing we will visit a local reindeer farm to learn about reindeer and reindeer farming. At the end of the adventure we will head to the atmospheric wilderness cabin of Soma Hideout for a delicious fish soup lunch.
