Warmly welcome to stay at Maatilamatkailu Kumpunen in the beautiful countryside of Lakeland Finland!

Since 2010, we have been renovating the farmhouse buildings for accommodation. The main house, Uusi-Kirri, was built by Hjalmar Kirri in the 1920s. It features six double bedrooms, five of which have their own toilet and shower. The living room, hall/lobby, and kitchen are shared spaces. The rooms have been redecorated in a 1920s style, offering magnificent views of Kirrinjärvi.

Additionally, we have a traditional Finnish summer granary, or “aitta,” which can accommodate 20 people. This includes atmospheric rooms, two six-person rooms, and two four-person rooms. There is also a separate building with a sauna, shower, and toilet.
