Fly-Fishing in Änättikoski Rapids

Take a break and head to Änättikoski to go fly- fishing in the rapids! Located about five kilometers from Lentiira Holiday Village, the rapids provide a gorgeous setting for catching trout and grayling.

Package includes a short briefing accompanied by rapid permit and fisherman’s box with coffee kettle and fire-starting tools. Would you need a fly-fishing guide, ask for availability at the reception in advance. The program package does not include insurance.

Description of the trip

To start with, we will gather at the reception of Lentiira Holiday Village. You will have information and instructions regarding the fishing spots and regulations at Änättikoski. We will also issue fishing permits that are valid for 24 hours from the time of issuance. Will remind you about the state fishing management fee, which must be valid during the whole fishing trip.

The services at Änättikoski include a casting dock, dry toilet, and a cooking shelter where you can make bonfires and prepare your meals. You can also use the tipii and barbecue area at Lentiira Holiday Village for cooking if needed.

For fish cleaning, there is a fisherman's cabin on the property where you can clean the fish using running water. Please leave the cabin tidy when you leave so that the next fisherman can comfortably clean their fish.
