Summer restaurant Nixor

The decades old ferry kiosk is nowadays a cosy full-service summer restaurant. It is located on a small island in Särkisalo in southern Salo, surrounded by the sea. Discover delicious foods, cold drinks, beautiful views and good company on the lovely summer terrace.

Nixor is known for delicious salads, generous burgers, and spicy wings. Nixor has two sup boards for rent. On Saturday evenings, enjoy live music outdoor. In summer 2023, we added a new jetty to get more space for boats.

The location on a small island next to a bridge is ideal: look anywhere from the terrace and you're faced with a beautiful island sea view. The midnight sun lights up the summer nights and gives spectacular sun set performances in the end of evening.

Nixor is accessible by boat and car. Distance by road from Salo 45 minutes (45 km) and from Särkisalo 7 km. We are open from May to August.
