Elk / Moose (Alces alces) is an iconic, majestic forest dweller. It is the largest species in the deer family. You will be surprised by its size when you see one! Join our Elk / Moose watching tour to witness this. With us you have excellent chances to encounter an Elk and learn about Elks' behavior, ecology and about Finns' relationship with the Elks.

To enhance your chances of spotting Elks and other deer species we'll provide binoculars. Additionally a telescope is at disposal for a close-up view of Elks or other animals. You are welcome to try digi-scoping with our telescope — a great way to capture memories from your Elk Safari! Last but not least, our thermal cameras will reveal even more wildlife around us.

We take you to known Elk sites locating less than 50 km from Helsinki. During the Elk watching tour you are likely to encounter also White-tailed Deer (Odocoileus virginianus), Roedeer (Capreolus capreolus) and Fallow Deer (Dama dama).

It is very rare, but couple of times we have managed to spot even a Eurasian Lynx (Lynx lynx) during our Elk watching tour! Perhaps this time you will be the lucky one!

In the end of the Safari we will invite you to discover the gentle warmth of Finnish hospitality during a visit to a traditional red wooden home.
