Rovaniemi’s cultural offerings and number of venues are enhanced when the Korundi House of Culture opened its doors on May 2011. With state-of-the-art acoustics, Korundi’s 340-seat auditorium makes it possible to combine visual arts and music with a variety of corporate events. The House of Culture is home to the Lapland Chamber Orchestra and the Rovaniemi Art Museum.

Located in the centre of town, Korundi is a former postal vehicle depot – one of the few buildings in Rovaniemi that survived the Second World War. Korundi combines the town’s history with modern, well functioning and aesthetically intriguing architecture.
