Ice Fishing Day Tour – Käsivarsi Wilderness Area (Privately Guided)

Full-day ice fishing tour in Käsivarsi Wilderness Area, where many lakes and ponds are full of northern fish species such as graylings, arctic chars and white fishes. Your local guide is specialised in all of those, so name a fish you want to catch and you’ll be guided to the best ice fishing places of that particular species.

The day starts in Kilpisjärvi village, from where you'll travel in a comfy sleigh pulled by a snowmobile. While we travel to our ice fishing spot, you can admire the snowy sceneries of "the white desert" in the Käsivarsi Wilderness Area.

You'll have a campfire snacks and hot beverages during the day.

This tour is suitable for every skill level, from beginners with little experience to experienced fishers. The tour will be customised to suit your skill level.

Available from end of February to beginning of May, depending on the amount of snow.

Winter clothing sets can be rented. The set includes: overalls, winter boots, woolen socks, gloves, helmet hat and a helmet.
