When it gets dark, we start our exploration of the magical Lappish night and hop in a car towards reindeer farm where we experience the mystical twilight on the reindeer sleigh ride. Lapland’s Winter is not totally dark even after the sunset as white snow reflects the light and the colors of the sky in a unique way. With a clear sky, we can see the stars and sometimes also the full moon. If we are lucky enough, we might also see the Northern lights dancing in the sky! After the reindeer ride, we gather in a Lappish tepee for interesting stories about reindeer while our herder prepares us hot drinks, sausages and a Finnish pancake with sweet filling by open fire.
