The Theatre Museum at the Cable Factory is a hidden gem in Helsinki! At the museum, you can try out theatre puppets, experiment with lighting design, or step onto the stage and become a star! And if hands-on activities are not – yet – your thing, you can explore information about theatre, dance, opera, circus, and performance art from the 19th century to today.

On display are dozens of theatre costumes, numerous scale models, a wide range of photographs and video material, puppetry, theatre posters, and various curiosities. You can visit the museum during opening hours either on your own or with a group. Guided tours and workshops on different themes offer an even deeper experience (reservations via the website).

Welcome to be surprised!
