Salla Wilderness Park's Reindeer herding area is total of 200 hectares and fenced around. In the area there is alltogether 5 kilometers of marked hiking trails with information about local nature and culture.

In yhe area reindeer are wandering free and you will see them during your walk. You will also find old style cabins, carnivore traps an so on. Ticket itself is a map and it is valid during the whole week.

During the mating season, September – October, check from the Wilderness Park is it allowed to enter the area
