Hossa National Park is located in northern Suomussalmi, and a great place to start your visit is the Hossa Nature Centre, offering a wide range of services.

At Lounaja café-restaurant, you can enjoy tasty local food during your visit. The buffet-style homemade lunch provides energy for hiking and outdoor activities, featuring local ingredients and regional flavours.

In addition to lunch, grilled dishes are available, along with vegetarian options and children’s meals. The café also offers sweet and savoury snacks, coffee, tea and refreshments.

There is also a small grocery corner where you can buy snacks and basic supplies for your trip.

Take a break and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and beautiful national park surroundings. During the summer season, lunch is served daily from 12 pm to 4 pm, and meals can also be arranged at other times by request.

Meals can be pre-ordered for groups or taken away, for example to your accommodation. Catering services are available from breakfast to evening meals, on-site or delivered to an agreed location.
