Welcome to the Varkaus Museum Center Konsti for a guided tour of the exhibition presenting the history of Varkaus' industrial community and expertise! The tour tells about the history and industrial development of the Varkaus region through the actors in the region.

Come and hear how a budding industrial community developed into an unparalleled center of engineering, technology and forestry amidst rapids and forests. The tour also introduces visitors to Varkaus' renowned shipbuilding history and the ambitious plans of architect Alvar Aalto.

The tour lasts approximately 45 minutes.

Exhibition tours on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays between 9:00 and 16:00 €65.00 + in the summer months (June-July-August) museum admission fee €5/€3 /person. Group discount for groups of more than 5 people €3/person. max. 25 people/group.
