Hotel Punkaharju Forest Cabins

The Punkaharju hotel ensemble consists of three main areas: the Main building (11 rooms all all year around), Villa Czarine (9 rooms all year around) and the Forest Cabins (14 cabins, only summertime) down by the lake.

The forest cabins (14) are located right by the Lake Saimaa, nestled in the woods of Punkaharju esker, about 500 meters down from the hotel main building. The Forest Cabins are available during summertime and allow you to experience a night amidst nature.

All forest cabins have been decorated to conform to the spirit of the surrounding nature and come equipped with the same high-quality beds, linen and towels as featured in the hotel rooms. Cabin amenities also include a water boiler, mini fridge and water bottles.

While there is no running water in the cabins, lavatories and showers are available in a separate building located nearby. Additionally, the Hotel’s own beach sauna is available to guests.

A breakfast buffet is served daily in the Restaurant Punkaharju located in the Main Building. Lunch and dinner are also served within hotel’s opening hours and the Hotel Bar at the entrance to the restaurant serves drinks and coffee.

Restaurant Punkaharju celebrates rich local culinary traditions with a modern twist. Local producers and natural ingredients play a key role in Hotel Punkaharju’s Restaurant menus.
