On Finland’s Independence Day, our country turns 108 years old – and we’re celebrating it on the slopes!

For the Ylläs season opening, the Crazyday -collective will build a pop-up park next to the carpet lift — a creative setup filled with clever lines and imaginative features to kick off the season in style. Great effort and amazing runs will be rewarded!

A DJ will keep the vibes high all day, and K-Market Eelin kauppa offers grilled sausages for the riders.

Also joining the event are Protect Our Winters and several ski and snowboard demo teams (11:00 AM – 3:00 PM), featuring Elan, Salomon, Black Crows, and Nitro.

Everyone’s welcome — whether you’re riding, watching, or both! Free entry. Skiers need a lift pass.
