Kayaking Day Trip at Southern Konnevesi National Park
The day trip will take you to the southeastern part of Southern Konnevesi National Park. The area is a sheltered, labyrinthine archipelago with the most rugged rocky shores and narrowest straits in the national park. There is certainly plenty to see and experience for everyone from beginners to experienced paddlers. Southern Konnevesi National Park also has the strongest osprey population in Central Finland and plenty of their nests. The kayaking trip will include a snack break on an island.
Difficulty level of the kayaking trip:
Easy, also suitable for less experienced paddlers. The speed of the kayaking trip is adjusted according to the condition, experience and weather. Participants must be able to swim. Persons under 18 years of age may participate in kayaking only with a guardian or with written permission. The tour is led by a canoeing instructor, wilderness and nature guide Anni Lemmetty.
Duration: The duration of the kayaking trip is 4 hours 30 minutes – 5 hours, including kayaking approximately 12 km.
Safety: If weather conditions (wind speed over 8 m/s) do not allow the safe implementation of the kayaking trip, we reserve the right to change and, if necessary, shorten the excursion program or change the date of the excursion. The kayaking instructor, trained by the Finnish Canoeing and Rowing Federation, has a valid EA1 & EA2 card, a tourism safety passport (MaTuPa) and a hygiene passport.
Price: 75€/participant. Price includes kayak (kayak unit), instructor services and experience.
