Blacksmith Martti Malinen takes private students to the forge all year round. If you already have previous forging experience, you can come for one or more days to hone your previous skills or learn a specific skill. You will work alongside a blacksmith on an agreed topic. Beginners are also welcome to come to a private workshop to try your hand at blacksmithing. The topic and schedule of the day are always agreed on an individual basis.

Tea or coffee will be served during the blacksmith days. In summer you can eat at the neighbouring village restaurant Niinipuu or take your own lunch.

We also offer personalised accommodation for a few people. For larger groups, we can arrange other accommodation nearby.

Insurance:

The course organiser has liability insurance during the course to cover any damage caused by the organiser's activities. It is recommended that participants also have personal accident insurance.
