Full-day Ice Fishing Trip for Experienced Fishermen

We depart from Arctic Raja Inn, from Näätämö to an guided ice fishing trip to fells of the wilderness area. The lakes are known especially for their good-sized perch and grayling.

The trip offers you an unforgettable experience, where you can enjoy the silence of the wilderness and the wintery fell nature. Experienced fishermen can utilize their skills in demanding conditions, and with the help of the guide, the best ice fishing spots can be selected.

You can choose whether you want to travel in the guide's snowmobile sleigh or drive your own snowmobile. The journey to the ice fishing lake takes an hour and a half, depending on the weather and ice conditions. The one-way drive is approximately 25 km.

During the ice fishing, we enjoy outdoor snacks and coffee/tea by the campfire, while you admire the fell landscape that opens up around you. Traveling with a local guide also ensures that the route is chosen in a safe and sustainable way, taking into account local weather conditions, nature and reindeer herding. Your guide will also share stories about the nature of the area and the local culture.
