Basecamp Oulanka is located next to the famous rapids of Kitkajoki river, which flows into the Oulanka National Park. Our popular rafting trips have several route options to choose from, starting from a family route suitable for beginners and the youngest members of the family, to a route for daredevils to the wildest rapids of Kitkajoki river. On the scenic route, you will have time to admire the stunning landscapes of the Oulanka National Park along the river route.

The rafting trips are conducted daily from Monday to Saturday, beginning in early June until the end of September, weather permitting. Each raft is guided by an official, experienced rafting guide, and all necessary equipment is included. By participating in the rafting trip, you support nature conservation efforts in the form of a nature conservation fee included in the price.
