Experience the rare thrill of winter fatbiking on the frozen sea – a truly unique way to explore the Arctic coast safely, with professional guidance

Once our guides have trained you in the use of fatbikes and gone through safety matters, we head out on a winter trail that crosses the beautiful seaside and forested areas of Nallikari. The safari follows both bicycle routes and trails, after which we move onto the frozen sea ice, if the ice and snow conditions allow it. We also visit the heart of Hietasaari's winter forest landscapes.

A fatbike is a bicycle with oversized tires. Their low air pressure allows for riding on unstable surfaces, such as snow and ice. The safari is suitable for anyone of basic fitness.
