Salo marketplace

Salo marketplace is a 'public living room'! Cafés in the market place are a must for all ages – both locals and visitors. In addition to the actual market days, the marketplace hosts many events, such as the popular and famous evening markets on summer Thursdays from June to the end of August. The evening markets feature Finnish performing artists, trade stalls, crepe cafés, second-hand goods and a separate flea market for children.

In the summertime, there is live music during the day every Sunday. Other marketplace events include the Spring and Autumn markets, the old car event and Hyvänmielentori (Feelgood market). In the winter, the marketplace parking area becomes a skating rink with atmospheric lighting.
