Kino Ylläs - Elokuvia taivasalla -outdoor film festival takes place every year in September at Yllästunturi’s open air auditorium ”Ihmisen Rinki” with ca. 600 seats. Organised since 2006, the festival shows 12 to 20 films over the course of three weeks.

The Festival is organised by the film club Napapiirin Sankarit, which also maintains the indoor theater Kino Kellokas’ film screenings at Yllästunturi Nature Center Kellokas.
