The Tyrnävä Object Museum

フリー 自由

The Object Museum of the Tyrnävä Local History and Museum Association is located in a grain storage building from the 1860s, next to Tyrnävä Church.

In addition to historical objects, visitors can learn about the life of the famous Tyrnävä resident Armas Pasanen, better known as “Tyrnävä’s Mirror Boy.” He was known for solving crimes—even murders—by looking into two mirrors. The museum also features a scrapbook documenting his life.

The museum is generally open to the public during the summer season, on Sundays in July from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The museum is also open on special occasions, such as during the Night of the Arts event.
