Meet your host Anu Huusko at the arrival terminal 2A, in front of the Tourist Information point. Transfer with the charter bus from Helsinki airport to Lahti region.

Arrival to Töyrylä Manor House (manor building dating from 1904), which offers luxurious accommodation in upstairs guestrooms with restored interiors and antique furniture that reflect the country house extravagant atmosphere.

Delicious dinner is served at the dining room.



Breakfast is served at the Manor’s beautiful kitchen and after breakfast, check-out.

9.30 Transfer to Lahti

10.15 Visit at traditional printmaking studio where you learn about the world of printmaking. You get acquinted with the traditional equipment and techiniques with local printmakers and after a little tuition, you will print a unique bag with you!

11.45 Transfer to Villa Takila, a high-class design villa on the shore of Lake Päijänne

12.45 “Finland100 years” themed lunch including presentation of Finnish glass artists and items like Markku Salo, Kaj Franck, Helena Tynell, Gunnel Nyman and Stefan Lindfors

14.45 Transfer to Lehmonkärki Resort which is a highclass holiday venue situated in the middle of Finnish countryside on the shore of Lake Päijänne. Accommodation in beautiful Villa Vellamo (interior design by dSign Vertti Kivi & Co)
16.30 Short presentation of the resort

17.30 Lehmonkärki Sauna World with traditional Finnish sauna rituals. You will learn about the importance of the nature in Finnish culture, Finnish folklore as well as herbal medicine and the powers of the herbs and plants. Sauna ritual includes foot baths (all handmade for you) followed by relaxing whisking.

20.00 Delicious dinner is served at hunting lodge



9.00 Breakfast is served at Villa Vellamo

10.00 Check-out and transfer back to Lahti

11.00 Guided wooden architecture tour during which you are able to dive into the world of wood design! The tour takes place at vicinity of Lahti harbor including four pieces of Wooden Architecture Park (designs of Hermann Kaufmann, Kengo Kuma, Richard Leplastrier and Gert Wingårdh), old railway station (acting as a cafeteria nowadays) and Gallery Pro Wood with a permanent exhibition of wood joints. Also new trends of Finnish wood design are represented at the Gallery’s handicraft shop and temporary exhibitions. This tour includes also a short introduction of Sibelius Hall.

13.00 Transfer to Kinnari Farm. Light lunch (salty pie with salad, coffee & tea) is served at the traditional Finnish hut and after lunch, you get to know the secrets of baking gingerbreads with new twist: Finnish rye!

15.00 Transfer to Mukkula Manor House and accommodation in unique rooms. Free time.

19.00 Dinner at the manor house’s restaurant. Local province menu called: Vellamo.
